The metal skid plate is new and custom-designed for Audi A4 B7, compatible with the following engine versions: 1,6 1,8 2,0 1,9tdi ,2,0tdi. Vehicle manufactured between 2005 and 2008. It protects the underside of the vehicle and sensitive components against impacts, stones, mud, dirt and road irregularities. The skid plate protects the following components: engine, radiator, front bumper. Includes an opening for oil changes, so the skid plate does not need to be removed during maintenance. The skid plate is made from steel sheet with a thickness of 2 mm. Includes screws, spacers and all accessories required for installation. All skid plates are powder coated for corrosion protection, providing greater resistance and durability. The skid plates feature welded reinforcements to improve resistance against external impacts. |

VAT & Import duty needs to be paid when ordering into the UK. Arrived promptly. Solidly built, and much more protection that the OEM fibreglass/plastic original. However, the fitting holes do not match my 2018 Santa Fe, despite ensuring the Make, Model and VIN of my car being given to confirm the part fitted. Perhaps the wrong part has been sent out? Have contacted info@sump-guard.co.uk for information regarding how to return this and/or exchange for the correct fitting part. I have no use for the current part and do not feel I should need to redrill the part (if that is even possible) to make fitting possible. Will update review when I have a response. Issues do arise, but it's how they're dealt with that is important.

Bei dem Getriebeschutz musste ich zwei Löcher bohren, da die vorhandenen nicht gepasst haben. Des weiteren ist die Schweißnaht an der einer Befestigungsschraube wo der Getriebeschutz mit dem Motorschutz verschraubt wird gerissen.

Sehr schnelle Lieferung. Nachdem der Original Unterfahrschutz (vorne und hinten) meines alten Zweitfahrzeugs Audi A4 quattro Bj2007 zum wiederholten Mal komplett zerstört war, habe ich mir vor 4 Monaten diese wirklich stabile Stahlblechabdeckung angeschafft (wohne am Berg mit viel Schnee und bei starkem Schneefall ist oft tiefer Neuschnee auf der Straße, bei Nassschnee brechen dann diese fragilen Plastikabdeckungen, wenn man mit dem Unterboden aufsitzt, die Audi hier vorgesehen hat, die Original-Befestigungsschrauben sind auch eine Frechheit, die lösen sich andauernd). Den ersten wirklich extremen Winter haben die Abdeckungen ziemlich unbeschadet überstanden, nur an ein paar Ecken hat es den Lack weg gescheuert und da rostet es. Die Befestigungspunkte vorne links und rechts und die beiden Bleche links und rechts bei den Radläufen stimmen nicht ganz, musste einige Anpassungen/Bohrungen machen, daher 1 Stern Abzug. An den Befestigungsschrauben gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Die mit einem Deckel und einer Schraube verschlossene Öffnung beim Ölablass passt ganz genau, das erspart eine Menge Zeit, die Original Abdeckung musste zum Ölwechsel immer komplett entfernt werden. Nun habe ich sicher Ruhe, bis ich in einigen Jahren meinen alten Pendler- und Schlechtwetter-Audi verschrotten lasse. Alles in allem überwiegen die Vorteile ganz klar.
