The metal skid plate is new and custom-designed for Ford Transit Courier, compatible with the following engine versions: 1.0; 1.5 TDci, 1.6 TDci. Vehicle manufactured between 2014 and 2023. It protects the underside of the vehicle and sensitive components against impacts, stones, mud, dirt and road irregularities. The skid plate protects the following components: engine, gearbox, radiator, front bumper. Includes an opening for oil changes, so the skid plate does not need to be removed during maintenance. The skid plate is made from steel sheet with a thickness of 2 mm. Includes screws, spacers and all accessories required for installation. All skid plates are powder coated for corrosion protection, providing greater resistance and durability. The skid plates feature welded reinforcements to improve resistance against external impacts. |

Steel skid plate for Ford Transit Courier
Montage war nach kurzer Besichtigung der Teile und Auto relativ einfach, ein paar Schrauben der vorderen Befestigungselemente die sich an der Verbindung Karosserie - vordere Stosstangenaufnahme befinden sind ziemlich schwierig zugänglich, dafür kann aber der Unterfahrsuchutz nix. Hinten halten die Platte längliche "Muttern" (Flacheisen etwa 5cm lang) die einfach durch vorhandene Löcher im Motor-Vorderachsträger eingsteckt und umgelegt werden. Die Platte hat hinten Schlitze, wird unter die Schraubenköpfe geschoben, angeschraubt. Ich hoffe, dass nie jemand in einer Werkstatt mal auf die Idee kommt und z.B. mit einem Schlagschrauber die ganz rausdreht. Wenn die Muttern da drinnen verrutschen, sind die weg und verursachen wahrscheinlich ungewohnte Geräusche.
