The metal skid plate is new and custom-designed for Skoda Octavia 1, compatible with the following engine versions: 1.6-2.0, 1.9 TD. Vehicle manufactured between 1998 and 2010. It protects the underside of the vehicle and sensitive components against impacts, stones, mud, dirt and road irregularities. The skid plate protects the following components: engine, gearbox, radiator, front bumper. Includes an opening for oil changes, so the skid plate does not need to be removed during maintenance. The skid plate is made from steel sheet with a thickness of 2 mm. Includes screws, spacers and all accessories required for installation. All skid plates are powder coated for corrosion protection, providing greater resistance and durability. The skid plates feature welded reinforcements to improve resistance against external impacts. |

What an amazingly designed skid plate, installed with a friend in just about 30min including cutting away a small bit of the front-right air intake to fit the mounting bracket. Overall a breeze to install and cheap investment into protection of the entire bottom section of the engine. 10/10 would recommend.
