The metal skid plate is new and custom-designed for VW Up, compatible with all versions manufactured between 2011 and 2026. It protects the underside of the vehicle and sensitive components against impacts, stones, mud, dirt and road irregularities. The skid plate protects the following components: engine, gearbox. Includes an opening for oil changes, so the skid plate does not need to be removed during maintenance. The skid plate is made from steel sheet with a thickness of 2 mm. Includes screws, spacers and all accessories required for installation. All skid plates are powder coated for corrosion protection, providing greater resistance and durability. The skid plates feature welded reinforcements to improve resistance against external impacts. |

passt einwandfrei, schnell zu montieren. Es fehlt vielleicht der Hinweis, daß das Teil anschließend gegen Rost geschützt werden sollte.

Der Unterfahrschutz wurde prompt geliefert, die Verarbeitung ist wertig und vor allem die Beschichtung überzeugt. Die Montagewinkel sind sauber geschweisst und lackiert. Die Montageanleitung für den Fahrzeugtyp VW UP! war leider nicht im Bausatz enthalten, anfänglich war es etwas "spannend" den Einbau der Montagebügel zu "erraten", ich denke aber, dass die meisten dieser Vorrichtungen in Werkstätten verbaut werden - für einen versierten Mechaniker ist das sicherlich ein Klaks. Insgesamt bin ich wirklich sehr zufrieden, eine gute Möglichkeit meinen UP! von unten gegen Schmutz, Salz und Steinschlägen auf Forststraßen im Revier zu schützen.
