The metal skid plate is new and custom-designed for VW Passat B5, B5.5 - manuelle, compatible with all versions manufactured between 1997 and 2005. It protects the underside of the vehicle and sensitive components against impacts, stones, mud, dirt and road irregularities. The skid plate protects the following components: gearbox. The skid plate is made from steel sheet with a thickness of 2 mm. Includes screws, spacers and all accessories required for installation. All skid plates are powder coated for corrosion protection, providing greater resistance and durability. The skid plates feature welded reinforcements to improve resistance against external impacts. |

Super schneller Versand. Dienstag bestellt, darauffolgenden Montag angekommen. Anhand der vielen verschiedenen Bewertungen, muss es etwas Glückssache sein (Fahrzeugabängig), ob der Unterfahrschutz 100%ig passt, oder man nacharbeiten muss, bzw ob die Öffnung am Unterfahrschutz zum Ölwechsel exakt passt oder halt nicht. Bei meinem VW Passat 3BG Variant 1.9 TDI, Schaltgetriebe, hat der Unterfahrschutz sowie der Getriebeschutz 100%ig genau gepasst, und auch die Öffnung zum Ölwechsel ist genau passend damit ich nicht jedesmal den Unterfahrschutz abbbauen muss zum Ölwechsel. Desweiteren bekommt man durch den Stahlunterfahrschutz, ca 2-3 cm mehr Bodenfreiheit im Vergleich zum originalen Plastik, was für mich sehr gut ist, weil ich meinen Passi sehr tief fahre. Also super Alternative zum Originalen, auch was den Preis betrifft (originaler Plastikschrott von VW kostet auch über 200 Euro). Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt war, aber eigentlich kein Problem ist, es fehlen die Löscher vorn um die innere Plasteradhausschale mit dem Unterfahrschutz zuverbinden. Aber kein Problem, selber noch paar Löscher gebohrt und befestigt. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt, und für den Passat 3BG 1.9 TDI, Schaltgetriebe, bedenkenlos weiterzuempfehlen.

Super Alternative zum Original-Unterfahrsschutz. Ölablassklappe ist genau an der richtigen Stelle, Haupt- und Getriebeschutz passen sehr gut. An den beiden Flügeln, die den Innenkotflügel halten, fehlten allerdings die Bohrungen, um Unterfahrschutz und Innenkotflügel zu verschrauben. Gebohrt, Schweißmuttern dran und fertig. Besonders gut finde ich, dass der Unterfahrschutz durch die Konstruktion bedingt etwa 5 cm mehr Bodenfreiheit bringt.
